FAQ
Insurance
While I'm not in-network with insurance, I am happy to provide superbills for you to file with your insurance for possible reimbursement.
Telehealth
I do offer telehealth sessions through the secure HIPAA compliant Simple Practice platform.
Cancellation Policy
I understand that appointments can sometimes not be kept. I kindly request that 24-hour notice be given for cancellations so that another patient may be seen. If notice is not given, I may charge the cost of the appointment.
What happens in the first session?
The first session is a conversation, not an interrogation. We'll talk about what's bringing you in, your history, and what you want to be different. By the end, I'll share how I think I can help and we'll sketch a plan together.
How much does therapy cost?
Sessions are $250 for 45 minutes and $330 for 60 minutes. While I'm not in-network with insurance, I'm happy to provide a superbill you can submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement - many PPO plans cover a meaningful portion.
How long will I be in therapy?
It depends on your goals. Some concerns respond well to 8-12 focused sessions; deeper work takes longer. We'll review progress regularly, and you're never locked in.
What is EMDR?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy for trauma and distressing memories. Rather than retelling painful events in detail, EMDR helps your brain reprocess them so they lose their emotional charge.
Do you work with autistic adults?
Yes - this is a specialty of mine. As both an LPC and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, I support autistic adults with anxiety, relationships, communication, and daily-life skills in a neurodiversity-affirming way.
